Rob began his professional career as a high school teacher. He also served as an Assistant Principal and Associate Principal before pursuing a career in Law Enforcement.

In 1999, Rob joined the Dover, NH Police Department as a full-time police officer, after serving as a part-time police officer at the Newton, NH Police Department since 1997. During his tenure at Dover PD, Rob had several collateral responsibilities, including K9 Handler, Use of Force Instructor, Field Training Officer, Drug Recognition Expert, and Tactical Operator on the Special Operations Unit.

In 2004, Rob joined the Salem, NH Police Department, where he spent the remainder of his Law Enforcement Career. During his tenure, he was promoted to patrol sergeant in 2008, Administrative Lieutenant (Operations Support Bureau Commander) in 2012, Captain (Operations Bureau Commander) in 2015 and Deputy Chief of Police in 2017. Rob was fortunate to gain experience in every facet of law enforcement before retiring in 2019.

His many affiliations include International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), FBINA, FBI, LEEDA, and ASIS International. Rob has also instructed a wide variety of Criminal Justice topics at the NH Police Standards & Training Council.

Rob earned a bachelor’s degree (BS) in Health Education from Plymouth State College in 1991 and a master’s degree (M Ed.) in Administration and Supervision from the University of New Hampshire in 1996. Rob is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy (Session 267) and completed the FBI Trilogy and FBI LEEDS training.
He is currently the Co-Founder, Lead Investigator, and CEO at Maverick Investigative Services LLC.
