Robert R. Morin Jr.
CEO/Co-Founder
Rob began his professional career as a high school teacher. He also served as an Assistant
Principal and Associate Principal before pursuing a career in Law Enforcement.
In 1999, Rob joined the Dover, NH Police Department as a full-time police officer, after serving
as a part-time police officer at the Newton, NH Police Department since 1997. During his tenure
at Dover PD, Rob had several collateral responsibilities, including K9 Handler, Use of Force
Instructor, Field Training Officer, Drug Recognition Expert, and Tactical Operator on the
Special Operations Unit.
In 2004, Rob joined the Salem, NH Police Department, where he spent the remainder of his Law
Enforcement Career. During his tenure, he was promoted to patrol sergeant in 2008,
Administrative Lieutenant (Operations Support Bureau Commander) in 2012, Captain
(Operations Bureau Commander) in 2015 and Deputy Chief of Police in 2017. Rob was
fortunate to gain experience in every facet of law enforcement before retiring in 2019.
His many affiliations include International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), FBINA, FBI
LEEDA, and ASIS International. Rob has also instructed a wide variety of Criminal Justice
topics at the NH Police Standards & Training Council.
Rob earned a bachelor’s degree (BS) in Health Education from Plymouth State College in 1991
and a master’s degree (M Ed.) in Administration and Supervision from the University of New
Hampshire in 1996. Rob is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy (Session 267) and
completed the FBI Trilogy and FBI LEEDS training.

Ryan Sambataro
COO/Co-Founder
Ryan Sambataro is the COO/Co-Founder of Maverick Investigative Services LLC, specializing
in the conduct and direction of high-level security, asset protection, executive protection
assignments, private investigations, as well as the establishment of security standards.
Ryan is a 16-year veteran of law enforcement, serving the communities of Hampton, NH,
Newfield, NH, Kensington, NH, Pelham, NH and Salem, NH.
Ryan had many assignments throughout his tenure in NH law enforcement, to include Field
Training Officer, Firearms Instructor, Drug Recognition Expert, ICAC (Internet Crimes Against
Children) team member, undercover narcotics investigator, and Juvenile Detective.
His many accomplishments and accolades include:
"Police Officer of the Year" and "Detective of the Year."
"Looking Beyond the Traffic Ticket-Drug Interdiction Award"
Ryan earned a bachelor’s degree (BS) in Political Science from the University of New
Hampshire in 2004 and a master’s degree (MBA) in Business Administration from Southern
New Hampshire University in 2006.

James C. Decker
Lead Investigator
Chris Decker is a Lead Investigator at Maverick Investigative Services, specializing in criminal
investigations, interview and interrogation, intelligence collection/analysis, crime scene
investigation and polygraph quality control.
Chris retired from the New Hampshire State Police after a long and distinguished career. During
his tenure with NHSP, Chris gained a wealth of experience and training and served as a Senior
Fraud Investigator – DMV Task Force, Polygraph Unit Commander/Director of Verification
Services, Senior Polygraph Examiner, Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force,
Major Crimes Unit Detective, Prison Liaison and Troop D Patrol.
Chris continues to offer his expertise to Law Enforcement personnel by serving as an Instructor
for Interview and Interrogation courses offered by Mello Consulting. Chris holds many
certifications, to include Polygraph Examiner, Polygraph Quality Control, Firearms Instructor,
Critical Thinking & Analytical Methods, Digital Forensic Evidence Investigator, Interview and
Interrogation, Protective Methodologies and Crime Scene Investigations, to name a few. Chris
received many accolades and accommodations throughout his career at NHSP with the
Governor’s Award and Congressional Law Enforcement Award being just two awards,
exemplifying his excellence.
Chris earned a bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Psychology from Notre Dame College and a master’s
degree (M.Ed.) in Counseling/Psychology from the University of New Hampshire.
Ryan P. Bartlett
CMO/Social Media Manager
Ryan P. Bartlett is a published author, musician, and graphic design extraordinaire. A graduate from Emerson College in 2019, Ryan holds degree’s in Marketing and Communication, which he puts to good use as our Chief Marketing Officer/Social Media Manager. Ryan is responsible for making all of the hilarious and informative posts on our facebook page, as well as the designing and maintenance of our website. (He also wrote this.)
